As this redesign was semi-evolutionary we had to hold onto previous illustrations (eg. a strawberry, snake, etc). To create unity between the 9-10 different varieties the heart was designed to hold the illustrations.
As part of the redesign the previous colour coding needed to be maintained, as well as some form of photography of couples in love

RFSU CONDOMS & MORE
RFSU is a pioneering Swedish organisation working in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
As part of the condom packaging redesign I also updated their branding.
The fertility/pregnancy/egg testing kits designs were created in collaboration with/art direction of a junior designer.
SALAMA BRAND REFRESH
When redesigning Salama condoms, brand recognition needed to be maintained whilst refreshing a dated look. Within the limitations the branding was tweaked, a stronger brand architecture developed and the photography was updated.
FAMILIA FAMILY PLANNING
The brand and the packaging were designed as a his & her approach within a conservative market where birth control can be seen as unacceptable/promiscuous. The condoms target married couples, whilst the pills have a clean pharmaceutical look.
WATERGUARD PURIFICATION TABLETS
Water in Tanzania is rarely free of bacteria or other impurifications. The Waterguard tablets will purify the water, making it safe to drink. The main challenge was in art directing the family as they had little or no modelling experience.
